BRIEF HISTORY

The Fun Language curriculum was introduced into Thailand in 1996 by Khun Duangchai Tangsanga, founder and president of the Fun Language franchise in Thailand. Over the past years, Fun Language International (Thailand) or FLIT has gained a foothold in a very competitive EFL market and has achieved a reputation as a leading centre specialising in teaching EFL to young learners. The Fun Language curriculum is now being taught in more than 50 schools in Bangkok and nearby provinces to over 22,000 children, aged between 2 ½ - 18. Many of our learners have passed the Cambridge Young Learner exams at all three levels (Starters, Movers and Flyers). All our teachers are supervised by experienced staff who receive comprehensive and ongoing training in the use of professionally-developed teaching materials and methods.

FLIT PROGRAMMES

Originally Fun Language was an EFL curriculum developed by a team of experienced teachers, child psychologists, and child developers in the UK. We have developed it further to be in line with the Cambridge Young Learner Exams syllabus. It has a unique approach to teaching English to children in a fun-filled way, with plenty of activities and opportunities to participate. The curriculum also enables children to become acquainted with English, as they absorb pronunciation and vocabulary without inhibition or self-consciousness.

FLIT APPROACH

The Fun Language way of teaching makes learning English FUN! The method draws from the Communicative, Task Based Learning and Total Physical Response approaches to teaching English. The children interact with their native speaking teachers through verbal and physical participation in the lessons. The topics are interesting and relevant to their ages and language needs. So, the students become excited about the language and going to English classes and they learn without knowing it.
